Runway used to build one AI video model and sell you access to it. It now carries around seventy of them, from Google, OpenAI, Kling, ByteDance and a dozen others, with its own models on the same shelf. This is our full breakdown: what Act-Two actually does, which apps are worth your time, what the credits really buy, and where it fits in a working marketing stack.
Most people come to Runway for the video models and stay for one feature nobody talks about. You film thirty seconds of yourself on a webcam, upload a picture of a character, and Runway copies your face and voice onto that character. Your footage never gets published. The character does.
For any business owner who hates being on camera, that is the whole ballgame. Everything else in here is a bonus, and there is a lot of it.
Runway is an AI creative studio, and in 2026 it quietly became something more useful than that. Instead of competing to build the single best video model, it started carrying everyone else's alongside its own.
Open the model list and you will find Runway's Gen-4.5, Gen-4 and Aleph 2.0 sitting next to Google's Veo and Nano Banana, OpenAI's GPT Image models, Kling, Seedance, Flux, Wan, Grok Imagine, MiniMax, LTX, Ideogram, ElevenLabs voices, Lyria for music and Topaz for upscaling. Around seventy in total, under one login, on one pile of credits.
You do not need to know what any of those names mean. You need to know you are no longer locked into one company's good month. You pick whichever model suits the shot and move on.
This is the feature that earns the subscription for a local business.
You hit record right in the browser and talk for up to thirty seconds. Then you upload a character, either an image or a video. Runway maps your performance onto that character. Same words, same timing, same expressions. When you raise an eyebrow, the character raises an eyebrow.
Then your recording goes in the bin and the character is what gets published.
If you do not have a character yet, you can generate one in the image tab and use it from then on. Build it once, use it every week, and nobody ever has to point a camera at you.
A character of your own, with a script and a voice, put to work every week. We build the whole thing and hand it back finished.
See how the video work runs ›Brand Kits are where you load your logo, your colors with exact hex codes, your product photography and your written rules for how things should move. You can hold several, one per campaign or one per client, and share them across a workspace.
After that you reference them directly inside a prompt, so instead of describing your product every single time, you point at it. The first setup takes an afternoon. Every week after that, you stop re-explaining your own brand to a machine.
Here is the part no other review will do for you, and it is the number that should decide your plan. Credits are the real currency, and video and images are priced in completely different universes.
Gen-4.5 costs 60 credits per 5 seconds. Aleph 2.0, the editing model, costs 140 credits per 5 seconds. Seedance 2.5 costs 80 credits per 4 seconds.
Gen-4 Image Turbo costs 2 credits per image. Nano Banana costs 5 credits per image. Text to speech costs 1 credit per 50 characters.
Now run the division. The Pro plan gives you 2,250 credits a month. At 60 credits per five seconds, that is roughly 37 clips, or about three minutes of finished Gen-4.5 video, and then you are done until the next cycle. The same 2,250 credits buy you over 1,100 images.
So make images freely. Plan your video before you generate it. And if video is the main event for you, Max at 9,500 credits a month is the honest starting point rather than Pro.

No. If you do not have one, you can generate a character inside Runway's image tab in about a minute and then use that same character in every video from then on.
Plans run from 15 dollars a month for Standard up to 95 for Max, with a Team plan at 69 per seat. There is a free tier, but it is 125 credits one time rather than a monthly allowance.
On the Pro plan at 2,250 credits a month, Gen-4.5 costs 60 credits per five seconds, which works out to roughly three minutes of finished video. Images are far cheaper at 2 credits each, so the same plan covers over a thousand of them.
That question stopped making sense in 2026, because Kling is inside Runway, and so are around seventy other models. You are not choosing between them anymore. You are choosing which one to use for a given shot.
Yes. We design the character, write and voice the script, produce the video, and place it where your customers already are. Call or text 805-243-8321, and the rest of what runs alongside it is on our digital marketing page.
We build video for clients using Runway alongside AI voices, music and animation. The tools are the easy part. The hard part is deciding what the character should say and making sure it turns up where your customers actually are.
If you want a character of your own, we will draw him, give him a voice, and put him to work every week. Runway sits in our toolkit next to ElevenLabs for the voice, Hedra for making a picture talk and Higgsfield for the camera moves.
